Remove fuel pressure regulator shield. See Figure 5.

Remove four (4) fuel supply manifold retaining stud-bolts.

Gently disengage the fuel supply manifold from the fuel injectors. Lift the manifold up and remove it from the engine. Mutilate and scrap the
removed fuel supply manifold.
Installation
1.
Inspect fuel injector 0-rings. Replace if missing or damaged.
2.
Lubricate inside of each injector cup on the new fuel supply manifold with clean engine oil. Use a clean, lint free shop towel to apply the
lubrication.
3.
Install fuel supply manifold onto injectors and install four (4) retaining stud-bolts. Tighten to 8-12 Nm (5.9-8.9 lb/ft).

Install fuel pressure regulator shield. Tighten top bolt (M6) to 8-12 Nm (6-8 lb/ft). Tighten rear nut (M8) to 20-30 Nm (15-22 lb/ft).

Position fuel injector wire harness and engage retainers. Connect ground wire to fuel supply manifold stud.

Connect fuel injectors and engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connectors.
7.
Inspect fuel line supply and return fitting 0-rings. Replace if missing or damaged.
8.
Lubricate inside of supply and return fuel line connector fittings, on the fuel supply manifold with clean engine oil. Use a clean, lint free shop
towel to apply the lubrication.
9.
Connect supply and return fuel lines, pull on chassis line connectors to ensure they are secured, and install redundant clips.
10.
Connect fuel pressure regulator vacuum line.
