Power Steering Fluid Reservoir: Service and Repair
The power steering pump reservoir is retained to the engine with two screws and a nut.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the inlet and return power steering hoses.
2. Drain fluid from power steering pump reservoir.
3. Remove retaining screws and nut from power steering pump reservoir.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Inspect filter screen in tank for contaminants, clean and flush tank. Replace if required.
1. Connect the power steering reservoir pump hose and power steering return hose.
2. Position power steering pump reservoir on engine.
3. Install two screw and washer assembly and one nut. Tighten to 9-12 Nm (80-106 inch lbs.).
