Replacement Considerations
Wheels must be replaced under any of the following conditions:

Bent, dented or heavily rusted

Have air leaks (aluminum wheels can, in most cases, be serviced refer to Leaks in the Cleaning and Inspection)

Have elongated bolt holes

Have excessive lateral or radial runout
Wheels with a lateral or radial runout greater than the recommended specification may cause an objectionable, high-speed vehicle vibration.
Replacement wheels must be equal to the original equipment wheels in all of the following conditions:

Load capacity
-
Diameter
-
Width
-
Offset
-
Mounting configuration
An improper wheel may affect the following:

Bearing life
-
Ground and tire clearance
-
Speedometer and odometer calibrations
