Pinion Bearing: Specifications

Minimum Torque Required to Tighten Pinion Flange Nut to Obtain Correct Pinion Bearing [1]:

Preload ...............................................................................................................................................................................................  190 Nm (140 ft.lbs.)

Pinion Bearing Preload-(Collapsible Spacer) [2]

Used Bearings .........................................................................................................................................................................  0.9-1.5 Nm (8-14 inch lbs.)

[1] If pinion bearing preload exceeds specification before this torque is obtained, install a new collapsible spacer.
[2] With oil seal.
