Mustang GT V8-4.6L SOHC VIN X (1998)
1. Install inner wheel bearing oil seal into housing bore using Axle Tube Bearing Replacer 205-124 (T78P-1225-A).
2. CAUTION: Installing rear wheel bearing or inner wheel bearing oil seal assembly without proper tool may result in an early rear wheel bearing
or inner wheel bearing oil seal failure. If inner wheel bearing oil seal becomes cocked in bore during installation, remove it and install new one.
Install inner wheel bearing oil seal using Axle Tube Seal Replacer 205-123 (T78P-1177-A). Use Premium Long Life Grease XG-1-C or equivalent
meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C75-B between lips of inner wheel bearing oil seal.
3. Make sure rear axle housing vent is not plugged with debris.
