REMOVAL
NOTE: Avoid touching the clutch disc face, dropping parts or contaminating parts with oil or grease.
1. Remove transmission.
2. Remove bolts retaining clutch pressure plate to flywheel and remove clutch pressure plate.
3. Remove clutch disc.
4. NOTE: The production flywheel is a press fit onto the crankshaft. Remove flywheel retaining bolts.
5. Install two flywheel retaining bolts into flywheel. Evenly remove flywheel.
6. Remove and discard two flywheel retaining bolts used to remove the flywheel.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the flywheel on the crankshaft.
2. Install the flywheel retaining bolts.
3. Using a star pattern, tighten the bolts to 38-52 Nm (28-38 ft. lbs.).
