Mustang GT V8-4.6L SOHC VIN X (1998)
2. Place flywheel housing over throw-out bearing guide tube using Bearing Replacer Tube 308-067 (T77L-7025-C) and Remover Tube 308-052
(T77J-7025-B) as shown. Press throw-out bearing guide tube into place.
3. Using Input Shaft Seal Replacer 308-220 (T94P-7025-AH), install oil seal.
4. Using a press and Input Shaft Bearing Cup Replacer 308-241 (T96P-7025-C), carefully install countershaft front bearing shim and bearing cup
into flywheel housing.
5. NOTE: Refer to Assembly, Transmission to check end clearance.
Using Bearing Cup Replacer 204-039 (T77F-1217-B) and a press, install countershaft front bearing outer race and shim into flywheel housing.
