Extension Housing: Service and Repair
Disassembly and Assembly
DISASSEMBLY
1. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, carefully pry out countershaft rear roller bearing retaining ring from rear of extension housing.
2. Using Seal Remover 307-001 (TOOL-1175-AC); Bridge 303-DO24 (D80L-100-V) and Forcing Screw 303-DO07 (D80L-100-C) (Part of Blind
Hole Puller Set 303-DS005 (D80L-100-A) or equivalent), remove countershaft rear support bearing/funnel and discard.
