Mustang GT V8-4.6L SOHC VIN X (1998)
1. Install countershaft rear support bearing spacer over lube funnel.
2. CAUTION: Funnel side of bearing outer race must face inward toward extension housing.
Using Step Plate Adapter 205-DSO11 (D80L-630-A) and Forcing Screw 303-DO06 (D80L-100-B) or equivalent (part of 303-DS005
(D80L-100-A) or equivalent) and a drawbar, press new countershaft rear support bearing/funnel into extension housing until it bottoms.
3. Install countershaft rear support bearing retaining ring into extension housing and apply petroleum jelly to bearing.
