No - No hydraulic concern exists within the TCC system. Rebuild pump assembly with new gasket and reseal transaxle. Road test after repair.

After removing the transaxle from vehicle, look into the transaxle from the pump side. Inspect the aluminum bushing in the forward/direct/coast
clutch cylinder assembly. Is there any visible damage to the aluminum bushing?

Yes - Replace transaxle. Do not repair (except for 1997 vehicles, repair all 1997 vehicles until remanufactured transaxles become available).

No - Replace Pump Assembly (F4RZ-7A103-A) and Filter (F3RZ-7A098-A). Clean and reseal transaxle. Inspect all friction elements for
distress. Inspect the internal splines of the forward/direct/coast clutch cylinder for wear. Road test vehicle after repair.
