ABS Hydraulic Unit: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Slide fuel vapor canister out of its bracket and position aside.
3. Remove speed control servo from bracket.

4. Disconnect hydraulic anti-lock actuator assembly electrical connectors, then loosen three nuts.
5. Remove front left brake line bolt, then use tubing wrench to remove brake line fittings from actuator assembly. Note brake line routings to ensure

proper installation.

6. Remove actuator assembly nuts and washers, then the actuator assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
8. Torque brake lines to 10-16 ft lb.
9. Perform system brake bleeding procedures.
