Brake Caliper Bolt
4. Install the brake caliper bolt. Tighten the brake caliper bolt to 44-49 N-m (33-36 lb ft).
5. Install two new copper washers and the connector bolt on the front brake hose banjo fitting.
6. Position the front brake hose on the front disc brake caliper and install the connector bolt. Tighten the connector bolt to 22-29 N-m (16-22 lb-ft).
7. Bleed the front brakes either manually or with Rotunda Pressure Bleeder 104-00064 or equivalent. Refer to Brake Bleeding.
8. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Tighten the wheel hub bolts to 88-118 N-m (65-87 lb ft).
9. Lower the vehicle.
Assembly
Install New Piston Seal
1. Lubricate a new piston seal with brake fluid and install the seal in the front disc brake caliper groove. Lubricate the front disc brake caliper bore
and the front disc brake caliper piston with brake fluid.
NOTE: Be sure the seal does not become twisted and that it is firmly seated in the front disc brake caliper bore.
2. Install the dust boot on the front disc brake caliper piston and slide the dust boot into its groove.
