Disassembly

Rear Disc Brake Caliper Assembly

The illustration is an exploded view of the rear disc brake caliper.

1. Remove the rear disc brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper: Service and Repair. 
2. Open the bleeder screw and drain the brake fluid from the rear disc brake caliper through the rear wheel brake hose fitting. After draining the fluid,

close the bleeder screw.

3. Remove and discard the dust cover.
4. Remove the screw plug.
