Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove fuel pump/fuel gauge sender from vehicle.

Fuel Pump Terminals.

2. Measure resistance between terminals "A" and "D."

Fuel Pump Float Resistance Measurement.

3. Adjust float to positions shown.
4. If resistances are not as specified, replace sending unit. If resistances are as specified, refer to pinpoint test. See: Fuel Gauge/Testing and
