DESCRIPTION

The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) rotates with the transaxle's final drive gear. The speed sensor turns a Hall effect pickup sensor, and an AC
voltage is created and sent to the speedometer in the instrument cluster. The AC voltage signal is developed into a DC digital signal and sent to the
Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
