    Refer to Fig. 57, when performing this procedure.

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove steering wheel insert, then remove steering wheel attaching nut.

3.

Mark steering wheel and steering column shaft for assembly reference and remove wheel with steering wheel puller tool No. T67L-3600-A or
equivalent.

4.

Remove two screws securing column cover, then remove cover.
