WATER LEAKAGE INTO THE REAR TAIL LAMPS
Refer to TSB 90-8-12 for installation of a secondary lamp housing gasket. Confirm that the tail lamp housing lens is not cracked or damaged. Sealing the
tail lamp bulbs and sockets with silicone is usually not required, but adding grease to the socket terminals will reduce the possiblility of socket corrosion.
If a prior repair was performed to the metal end panel that attaches the lamps, water leakage may still be a concern. The possible water leak sources are
shown in Figures 17 and 18. These are. . .

Floor pan to end panel sealing, cracked welds or weld pin holes.

Center tail lamp lens housing, lock cylinder gasket and/or mounting surface.
Leakage or Wind Noise At the Door Glass/Mirror Areas
WATER LEAKAGE OR WIND NOISE AT THE SIDE DOOR GLASS/MIRROR AREAS
Water leaks or wind noise in the door (front or rear) glass area could be caused by any of the following:
