Disassembly and Assembly

Disassembly

All vehicles
  1. Remove the heater housing.
    For additional information, refer to Heater housing in this section.

  1. Remove the heater housing cover.
Vehicles with air conditioning
  1. Pull out the evaporator/heat exchanger (push fit).
    1. Evaporator
    1. Heat exchanger

  1. Remove the air recirculation flap positioning motor.

  1. Remove the blower motor cover.

  1. Remove the blower motor.

  1. Dismantle the heater housing (clipped together) (heater shown from the front).

  1. Dismantle the heater housing (clipped together) (heater shown from below).

Assembly

  1. Reassemble the components in reverse order.
    • Use new clips if necessary.
