1. Position the vehicle on level ground.

2. Drain the transmission oil.
   For additional information, refer to: Transmission Draining and Filling - Vehicles With: 5-Speed Manual Transmission (S15M)/5-Speed Manual Transmission (S15MX) (308-03 Manual Transmission/Transaxle, General Procedures).
   

3. Remove the propeller shaft.
   For additional information, refer to: Driveshaft - 4x2 (205-01 Driveshaft, Removal and Installation).
   

4. Remove the oil seal using a flathead screwdriver.

1. Apply specified grease to the lip of a new oil seal.

2. Tap a new oil seal into the case using the SST.

3. Install the propeller shaft.

4. Add transmission oil.
