Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
    For additional information, refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  1. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear door trim.
      For additional information, refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
    1. Door screen.
    1. Rear window regulator.
      For additional information, refer to: Rear Door Window Glass (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the power window motor connector.

  1. Remove the bolts.
  1. Remove the power window motor from the power window regulator.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
