Staple a 13" long x 3/4" wide x 1/8" thick length of 3M Scotchfoam vinyl tape (Part No. 06375 - procure locally) adhesive side up to the shield.
As shown in Figure 12, position the foam tape so that it extends about 3/8" beyond the shield edge. The ends should be stapled and the other
staples should be spaced about 2" apart. Peel off the protective paper from the adhesive side.

Peel the protective paper from a 13" long x 3/4" wide x 1/4" thick length of 3M Scotchfoam vinyl tape (Part No. 06370 - procure locally) and
adhere it to the 1/8" thick length of tape stapled to the shield (sticky side to sticky side). Rub/squeeze the two tapes together so that a good bond is
achieved.
7.
Trim the ends of the tape off square with the ends of the shield.
