Solvent wipe service area with a Silicone and Wax Remover to assure clean surfaces.

Using a suitable grinder or sanding block with #36 Disc or Coarse Abrasive Paper, grind or abrade away sufficient substrate material around
the damaged area to maximize adhesion of material.
After initial grinding, the 3 basic types of servicing should look like this.

Featheredge the paint around the area.
