Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1.
Remove oil pump retaining bolts, if necessary.
2.
Insert small sheet metal screws into seal and pull screws to remove seal.
3.
Install new seal with tool T82L-6701-A as shown, Fig. 16. When properly installed, rear face of seal should be within .005 inch of rear face of
cylinder block.
