Testing Overrunning Clutch

1.
Hold clutch housing and rotate pinion.
2.
If pinion does not rotate clockwise or lock counterclockwise, replace overrunning clutch assembly.
3.
Inspect pinion for wear or burrs, replacing overrunning clutch assembly as necessary.
