MUD FLAPS - DIFFICULT TO INSTALL - SERVICE TIP
LIGHT TRUCK:
1998 RANGER
ISSUE:
It may be difficult to install mud flaps onto some vehicles. This may be caused by missing holes in the fender for fastening the mud flap to the fender.
ACTION:
Drill required holes and mount fasteners to secure mud flap. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.

Service Procedure
1.
Mount front and rear mud flaps to the pencil brackets by using the appropriate fasteners provided in the mud flap kit.
2.
Make sure the mud flap is true and flush to the vehicle (character lines, etc.).
