Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

NOTE:  Radiator hoses should be checked. Replace whenever they become cracked.

1. Drain the radiator.

2. Position the hose clamps out of the way and slide the hoses off each connection. Remove the hoses from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

CAUTION:  Reposition the clamps beyond the bead and place them in the center of the clamping surface of the connections. Constant-tension
hose clamps must be installed inside the alignment marks or engine coolant leaks and engine damage may occur.

1. Position the clamps.

2. Slide the hoses on the connections and position the clamps.
3. Fill the radiator.
