Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
WARNING: FUEL PRESSURE REMAINS IN THE FUEL SYSTEM AFTER THE ENGINE IS SHUT OFF.
2. Remove the accessory drive bel.
3. Remove the oil level indicator tube.

Remove the bolt.
4. Remove the upper intake manifold.
5. Remove the A/C compressor.
6. Remove the A/C compressor bracket.

Remove the three bolts and one stud.
-
Remove the bracket.
7. Remove the dash panel ground cable from the intake manifold stud.
