Ranger 2WD L4-153 2.5L SOHC VIN C SFI (1998)
10. Disconnect the heater water hose from the intake manifold and from the heater line on the vehicle.
11. Disconnect the EGR tube at the EGR valve and loosen the fitting on the exhaust manifold.
12. Remove the EGR valve.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the EGR valve.
-
Discard the EGR valve gasket.
13. Remove the EVAP emission tube.
14. Remove the upper intake manifold.
-
Remove the seven bolts.
-
Remove the intake manifold.
-
Discard the gasket.
Installation
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
