Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Partially drain the cooling system.

3. Disconnect the connector from the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor (ECT sensor).

4. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

INSTALLATION 

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
