For 4X2: Measure from the top of the axle to the bottom of the frame in the area near the middle of the jounce bumper. The rear height for
4X2 should be at a minimum 170 mm (Figure 1).

For 4X4: Measure from the top of the spring spacer bar to the bottom of the frame in the area near the middle of the jounce bumper. The
rear height for 4X4 should be at a minimum of 156 mm (Figure 1).

If the vehicle is below the minimum specifications noted, remove existing rear springs and replace them with revised springs. Refer to the
appropriate Ranger Workshop Manual for replacement procedures.
