13. Pull the seal from the A/C compressor.
Installation
All vehicles
1. NOTICE: To prevent refrigerant system contamination, do not allow dirt or other foreign materials to enter the Air Conditioning (A/C)
compressor.
Clean the A/C compressor nose area.
2. Place the shaft seal on the A/C Compressor Shaft Oil Seal Protector. Lubricate the shaft seal and the A/C Compressor Shaft Oil Seal Remover with
PAG oil.
3. Position the shaft seal and the A/C Compressor Shaft Oil Seal Protector over the A/C compressor shaft.
4. Push the shaft seal onto the A/C compressor shaft with the A/C Compressor Shaft Oil Seal Installer until seated.
5. Install the shaft seal snap ring.
