Removal and Installation

NOTICE: Do not spill brake fluid on painted or plastic surfaces or damage to the surface may occur. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or
plastic surface, immediately wash the surface with water.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. NOTE: Clean the area around the quick disconnect coupling.
Using the Hydraulic Line Disconnect Tool, disconnect the hydraulic tube from the clutch slave cylinder.
3. Remove the 2 screws and the lower steering column finish panel.
4. Remove the 5 bolts and the lower reinforcement panel.
5. Disconnect the Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch electrical connector.
