6. Disconnect the wiper arms from the windshield wiper motor.
1. Remove the RH windshield wiper mounting arm from the pivot shaft.
2. Remove the LH windshield wiper mounting arm from the pivot shaft.

Position the wiper mounting arms away from the windshield wiper motor.
7. Remove the windshield wiper motor.

Remove the stud and bolts.

To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
8. NOTICE: To avoid possible damage to the mounting arm and pivot shaft retainer clip, be sure the clip is fully seated before installing on
the motor crank pin.
NOTE: Install the LH mounting arm and pivot shaft to the motor before installing the RH mounting arm and pivot shaft.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
