7. Install an M6 bolt into the crankshaft pulley to verify the engine timing.
8. Remove the bolt and the crankshaft pulley.
9. CAUTION: Use care not to damage the engine front cover or the crankshaft when removing the seal.
Remove the crankshaft front oil seal by prying the seal out of the front cover.
Installation
1. Using the Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installer 303-096, install the crankshaft front oil seal.
2. NOTE:

Do not reuse the crankshaft damper bolt.

Apply clean engine oil on seal area before installing.
