Vehicle Lifting: Description and Operation
JACKING
WARNING:

DO NOT RUN THE ENGINE WHEN JACKING THE VEHICLE. THE WHEELS CONTACTING THE GROUND COULD CAUSE
THE VEHICLE TO MOVE.

MAKE SURE THE JACK AND JACK STANDS ARE PROPERLY LOCATED TO PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM FALLING.

WHEEL CHOCKS SHOULD BE USED TO PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM ROLLING AND FALLING OFF THE JACK.
The jacking point is a tab that extends from the front suspension lower control arm.
The rear jacking points are located on the rear axle.
LIFTING
CAUTION:

Damage to suspension, exhaust and steering linkage components may occur if care is not exercised when positioning the hoist adapters prior to
lifting the vehicle.

Never use a halfshaft or the differential housing as a lifting point.
Locate the front hoist adapters and rear hoist adapters on the frame of the vehicle as indicated,
