REMOVAL

1.

Disconnect electrical connector from switch, Fig. 12.

2.

Remove hairpin clip, then slide switch, pushrod, nylon washer and bushings away from pedal.

3.

Remove washer, then the switch by sliding switch up or down.

 
INSTALLATION

1.

Position switch so that U-shaped side is nearest pedal and directly over or under pin.

2.

Slide switch up or down, trapping vacuum booster input rod and bushing between switch side plates.

3.

Push switch and push rod assembly toward brake pedal arm, then assemble plastic washer to pin and install hairpin clip to retain assembly.

4.

Connect electrical connector to switch, then check for proper operation.
