Brake ON/OFF Switch: Description and Operation
Brake ON/OFF Switch
The mechanical brake ON/OFF switch is installed onto the pin of the brake pedal arm. It straddles the vacuum booster input rod, but is not attached
directly to the input rod. The brake ON/OFF switch moves with the pedal arm when the brake pedal (2455) is pressed.
The circuit from the brake ON/OFF switch to the stoplamps provides a signal indicating the brake pedal has been pressed. The signal is routed to the
