ISSUE:
An engine stumble and/or intermittent highway speed misfire may be evident on some vehicles. Some 1995 vehicles may feel a slight bump during a 2-1
coastdown shift. These conditions may be caused by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) calibration.
ACTION:
Reprogram the PCM. For a 1-2 coastdown bump concern, follow normal diagnostics as outlined in the transmission Section of the appropriate Service
Manual. Repair any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present and transmission hardware concerns. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.
