Tighten the cylinder head bolts in sequence in three

 

steps:  Step 1:  30 Nm (22 ft-lb).  Step 2:  70 Nm (52 ft

 

lb).  Step 3:  Rotate the cylinder head bolts an

 

additional 90 degrees tighter in  sequence.
