I-Beam Axle: Service and Repair
Front I-Beam Axle

1.

Remove front wheel spindle, front spring and stabilizer bar, if equipped.

2.

Remove spring lower seat from radius arm and bolt and nut for radius arm to front axle.

3.

Disconnect stabilizer bar from front I-beam axle assembly, if equipped.

4.

Remove axle to frame pivot bracket bolt and nut. Remove axle.

5.

Reverse procedure to install.
