Valve Cover: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove the accelerator control splash shield and air cleaner outlet tube.
2. For right valve cover, remove generator and coil pack.
3. Remove retaining bolt from air conditioning pipe over upper intake manifold.
4. Remove spark plug wires from clips on valve cover.
5. Using a suitable tool (such as a door panel remover tool), remove two wiring harnesses from right valve cover.
Vacuum Coupling
6. Disconnect vacuum hose at coupling over valve cover.
