Seat Belt Reminder Lamp: Description and Operation
When the ignition switch lock cylinder is turned to START or RUN, the warning buzzer/chime module applies voltage to the FASTEN BELTS indicator
in the instrument cluster to turn it on.
If the safety belt has not been buckled when the ignition switch lock cylinder is turned to the RUN position, the safety belt warning will sound for a
duration of 4 to 8 seconds.
The warning chime and warning indicator will then shut off whether the safety belt has been buckled or not.
