2. The converter modulator valve may come out after the TCC solenoid has been removed. This may damage the solenoid or converter modulator
valve. Remove the TCC, SS4, SS2 and EPC solenoid clamp screw.
NOTE: The TCC solenoid may pop out of its bore.
3. Remove the solenoid clamp and the solenoids.
4. Carefully rotate the main control assembly so that the control valve body-to-case gasket is facing up. Remove and discard the control valve
body-to-case gasket.
