Ranger 2WD V6-245 4.0L VIN X SFI (1997)
10. Install the control valve body-to-case gasket.
NOTE: Apply petroleum jelly on the separator surface to hold the gasket in place.
11. Remove the alignment pins.
12. Rotate the main control so that the separator plate is facing down.
13. Install the solenoids.
CAUTION: The shift solenoid terminals must face upward.
NOTE:

All the shift solenoids are interchangeable.

If the TCC valve came out, use caution when installing the TCC solenoid.
