Ranger 2WD V6-3.0L (2008)
Position the LH side of the exhaust Y-pipe into the vehicle and loosely install the new LH side of the exhaust Y-pipe-to-exhaust manifold nuts.
4. Loosely install the new LH side of the exhaust Y-pipe-to-RH side of the exhaust Y-pipe nuts.
5. Install the transmission mount and isolator-to-transmission bolt.

Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
6. Install a new RH side of the exhaust Y-pipe-to-muffler and tailpipe assembly gasket.
7. Loosely install the RH side of the exhaust Y-pipe-to-muffler and tailpipe assembly bolts and new flagnuts.
8. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.
NOTE: 3.0L shown, 4.0L similar.
Tighten the exhaust Y-pipe assembly-to-exhaust manifold nuts.

Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
9. Tighten the LH side of the exhaust Y-pipe-to-RH side of exhaust Y-pipe nuts.

Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
10. Tighten the RH side of the exhaust Y-pipe-to-muffler and tailpipe assembly bolts.

Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
11. Connect the HO2S and catalyst monitor sensors electrical connectors.
12. Check to see if the exhaust system isolators are at zero load. If the exhaust system isolators are not at zero load, carry out the exhaust system
alignment procedure.
