Make a "u-shaped" cut in the insulator below the throttle pedal bracket, 140 mm wide and 100 mm down +/- 20 mm (5.5" wide by 4" down +/-
.75"), as seen in Figure 1. Make sure to line up the bottom/center of the "U" cut with the throttle pedal bracket, as seen in Figure 2. This will help
relieve any tautness in the insulator, so it will sit flush with the floor panel.

Reposition the carpet.

Using NGS or WDS, verify that WOT mode can be reached without excessive force on the throttle pedal.
