ISSUE
Some 2001 3.0L and 4.0L Rangers may exhibit a lack of power IF the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has been reprogrammed in service. The lack of
power may be caused by unintended spark retard.
ACTION
Verify the condition, and if present, reprogram the PCM to the latest level calibration. Refer to the PCM Calibration Information Chart shown.
