Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Remove the lower steering column cover.
1. Remove the screws and detach the hood release handle.
2. Remove the 2 screws.
3. Remove the lower steering column cover.
3. Remove the bolts and the lower steering column cover reinforcement.
4. Remove the 2 screws and detach the relay panel.
5. Remove the screws and disconnect the vacuum connector.
6. NOTICE: Do not attempt to bend any part of the lever. It is brittle and will break.
Rotate the vacuum control motor until it clears the retaining arm and remove the vacuum control motor.
