M6 CHECK THE TRAILER TOW PARKING LAMP CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE

Measure the voltage between the trailer tow C439-3, circuit CAT17 (BN/WH), harness side and ground.
-
Is any voltage present?
Yes
REPAIR circuit CAT17 (BN/WH) for a short to voltage. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
GO to M7.

M7 CHECK THE DIMMER SWITCH VOLTAGE SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE

Disconnect: Instrument Panel Dimmer Switch C2065.

Measure the voltage between the SJB C2280c-26, circuit CBP01 (BU), harness side and ground.
-
Is any voltage present?
Yes
REPAIR circuit CBP01 (BU) for a short to voltage. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
GO to M8.

M8 CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION

Disconnect all the SJB connectors.
-
Check for:
-
corrosion
-
damaged pins
-
pushed-out pins
-
Connect all the SJB connectors and make sure they seat correctly.

Operate the system and verify the concern is still present.

Is the concern still present?
Yes
