Fuel Injector: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect ground cables from both batteries.
2.
Remove fuel injection lines. Cap lines and fittings.
3.
Remove fuel return line and gaskets.
4.
Remove fuel line heater clamp bolts and position heater aside.
5.
Remove injection nozzles using a suitable socket.
6.
Remove copper washer and steel gasket using tool No. T71-P-19703-C or equivalent.
7.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque nozzles to 47 ft. lbs. Install nozzle gaskets with blue side up, toward nozzle.
